BBF AND OUR COACHING TEAM
Box Bell Fit was originally set up by Anna in 2011 as a four week progressive Boxercise and Kettlebell Bootcamp. We trained outside in Bracknell and Wokingham whatever the weather and loved every minute of it!
After using the old barn on Stokes Farm in Wokingham during the winter months, an old free range chicken shed (its actually a 50m x 10m building!) became available and we jumped at the chance to take it on and moved in. We opened the training centre in Easter 2012 and haven't looked back!
We're in the countryside but close to Wokingham, Binfield and Bracknell, plenty of fresh air on tap, loads of parking, and the option to train outside when we have great weather.
The training centre is 5,000 sqft, and holds a huge amount of kit from - punch bags, Olympic bars, kettlebells, dumbbells, wall balls, slam balls, prowlers, plyometric boxes, battle ropes, bungee ropes, rowers etc.
We have a genuine desire to help our clients become the very best they can be. We treat everyone as an individual and tailor our activities to any ability. We are positive that there will be an activity on offer to suit your needs, so give one a try, we are here to help.
Our focus is not on membership numbers – but on our member’s results. So sign up to your first week free so you can decide for yourself.
Owner & Head Coach
I created Box Bell Fit in 2011 as a Boot Camp along side my Personal Training business. It was originally a 4 week progressive Boot camp, teaching the basics of boxing and kettlebell training – hence the business name!
Its amazing to be years down the line and see where BBF is now! From the Jennets Park in Bracknell, to the Wedding barn on Stokes Farm, and then to a 5,000 square foot building that originally was a free range chicken tunnel.
I’m a thirty something, married, dog parent, business owner, who is passionate about helping people. I wasn’t always a PT.. I spent 10 years in I.T. as a Business Analyst, working 50-90 hours per week. I loved working with people, but I was sick, tired and unhappy with life.
Falling into I.T was a complete surprise as I’d been planning on going to University to study Sports Science and bocame a P.E Teacher! And in a roundabout way I’ve done it! I re-trained as a PT and group exercise instructor, and luckily my husband supported me to make the change in career. Looking back it's hard to remember those days, and I look forward to work everyday, whether it's it 1-2-1 training or in a group!
I love to train and it’s a massive part of my life. I’m on the England Team for Kettlebell Sport and represent the country at European and World Championships, love cross training style events, and I’ll try just about any sport once 😊
A few years ago I found out I have the BRCA2 gene and it gave me some tough life decisions. After a double mastectomy and reconstruction in 2015, it was hard to re-build my fitness, mobility and confidence after such a major operation – but I have. It's made me even more determined to enjoy life and make a difference to other people's lives where I can.
I look forward to meeting with you at the training centre soon. If you have any questions feel free to drop me an email – firstname.lastname@example.org
Coach & Personal Trainer
From putting on my first pair of rugby boots at the age of 12, sport and training has been the major driving force throughout my life.
My passion for sport has seen me play international rugby, enter the ring as an amateur boxer and become a World Record Holder and Master of Sport kettlebell lifter.
Throughout all of my career I have truly come to believe that it isn’t just about the goals you set yourself but the journey you take to get there.
This means for me training and exercise have to work for people as part of their lifestyle.
I work hard to make sure that not only do you enjoy working out but also that your training evolves as you develop. I am always looking to improve myself as a trainer, I enjoy learning different styles of training (powerlifting and calisthenics being the most recent) because (a) I know different methods suit different clients and different goals and (b) variety is the spice of life and keeps training fun and helps you to keep developing.
I am passionate about your journey and will bring my varied background to make sure you get the most out of it. Every client is unique and every session will be tailored specifically to you. So whatever your goals, whether you are looking to improve sports performance or if this is your first step towards a healthier you, I want to work with you to help you get there and enjoy the experience along the way. You are unique and I want to help you embrace that.
